Hello Ryan,
It's wonderful to see you here at planDisney!
Thanks for your question about ticket refunds for the Disneyland Resort theme parks.
An important note to share is that
tickets for the theme parks at the Disneyland Resort are nonrefundable.
A more important note to share, and a good news note at that, is that you do have some options that can give you flexibility in how you can use your ticket should your initial plans change.
First, you'll have some
period of time for when your ticket is valid. For example, if you were to purchase a one-day ticket today, that ticket would be valid through December 30, 2022. If you were to buy multi-day ticket today, that ticket would be valid for 13 days after you first use it for admission, or until January 12, 2023, depending on which of those dates would come first.
Also, depending on the type of ticket and the ticket tier, the ticket can be used for different dates. You'll want to
check the dates for which the ticket you purchased can be used.
In addition, should your ticket go unused and should it expire, you can apply the price you paid for the ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket.
You can always contact the Disneyland Resort and speak with a Cast Member about tickets by
calling the tickets team at (714) 781-4636.
When you purchase a new theme park ticket, the ticket buying process will also make a theme park reservation for the date you select and the theme park you select. You could cancel this theme park reservation as needed through your
"My Theme Park Reservations" information in your Disneyland Resort account. You could then book a new theme park reservation, based on reservation availability,
using the online theme park reservation system.
Ryan, I do hope this is helpful information as you're planning your visit to the Disneyland Resort. If you'd like suggestions as you're making your plans, please do ask here at planDisney. I also highly recommend following the
Disney Parks Blog as a great and fun way to stay in the know about all the cool and exciting experiences coming to the theme parks.
Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!
Jerry
