Hiya, James!
Welcome to planDisney!
First of all, you are the BEST wedding gifter ever! (Are you looking to add more friends to your social circle? I'm already married, but I do have a milestone birthday coming up in a few yEARs.) This is such a sweet question and an even sweeter gift! I'm so happy to be your planEAR today!
Technically there isn't a single gift certificate to cover the expenses of both a Disneyland Resort Hotel stay as well as Theme Park Admission Tickets. I'm pretty sure this is because rates at the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels fluctuate depending on the season (ex:
springtime or
the holidays, etc) but also because ticket prices are only released so many months in advance. However, I do have a few ideas for you:
1) You could go through the steps yourself of booking a
Disneyland Resort Hotel as well as picking out some
Theme Park Admission Tickets online around the same time that you think they'd like to visit. This would give you the total cost of each, and then you could purchase
Disney Gift Cards in that amount. You could include a note about the amount covering the exact options you looked at and let the happy couple book everything the same way you played around with the pricing themselves; Or, your very generous gift and thoughtful resEARch thoughts could be a jumping-off place for them to grow their plans. (After all, they might want to select a different hotel, or try to visit at another time of yEAR, etc.)
2) You could ask them to come up with their perfect Disneyland weekend and then you could book it on their behalf. You could sneakily ask them "If you could stay at any of the
Disneyland Resort Hotels, which one would you choose?" You could also ask them to plan out their perfect Disneyland weekend on a dream sheet. Or, better yet, you could tell them in a card to call the
Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package Reservation line, dream up all of their plans for however many nights and park days, place those plans on a complimentary 24-hour hold, and then send you that reservation hold confirmation number as your gift to them. (You'd then
call the Vacation Package Reservation number back at (714) 520-5060 and take over from there.)
I hope that this helped to give you a few gifting ideas, James. Be sure to follow the
official planDisney Panel Instagram Account where we're sharing all kinds of tips and tricks. You might even lEARn about a few more unmissable moments, like top
Disneyland Dining Reservations or
dessert parties, or decide to plan a visit out west yourself! Thank you again so much for sending this Disneyland Resort vacation planning question our way, James. And if you have any more questions, We're All Ears!
