Hi Elizabeth,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. One of my favorite ways to celebrate a birthday is by visiting Walt Disney World; of course, a birthday cake makes it even better!
I took a quick peek at the menus listed on the Walt Disney World website and found
Celebration Cakes listed on the menus at many of the
quick service restaurants located within Disney Resorts. If you’re staying in a Disney Resort, this makes it convenient for you to pick up a cake and return to your room for the celebration! Subject to availability at each location, you can choose a chocolate or vanilla cake that feeds 4 to 6 Guests. Many of these Resort dining locations offer
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, but I don’t see the cakes listed on the mobile ordering menu. I believe you’ll need to order the cake in person.
Another suggestion is to purchase a dessert from
Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs. You can pre-order a character-inspired dome cake that serves 8-10, but my suggestion is to check out the petite dome cakes. Options include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald- themed domes, all with delicious flavors, so I don’t think you can go wrong trying 2 or 3 of them! And if you’re looking for cake by the slice, you can visit
The Cake Bake Shop Bakery at Disney’s BoardWalk to try one of their famous cakes, like the
Pixie Fetti Birthday Cake.
I hope this helps make your birthday celebration a memorable one, Elizabeth! Don’t forget to pick up a birthday celebration button so everyone can see you are celebrating. You can pick one up at any
Guest Relations location in the theme parks, and at the Front Desk of your Disney Resort. If you have any more questions, please come back and see us again at
