Is it possible to purchase a gift certificate for a future stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel.

    Hiya, Jennifer!

Thank you so much for reaching out to us hEAR at planDisney!

Calling a Disneyland Resort Hotel home for a few days is a dream indeed. Not only is the bed for your head as close to the magic as one can get, but these three hotels are also closer to the theme park entrances than the parking areas for those who drove in for the day. You can literally go from the theme parks to your PJs faster than my Panel Pal, dear friend, and local Passholder Kristin C. can fold her stroller and find her keys!

The best way to ensure a future stay at Mickey's house is to purchase Disney Gift Cards. You can find  Disney Gift Cards on ShopDisney.com that come in all kinds of fun designs; as a bonus, some of the physical gift cards even include a keepsake postcard of the same artwork. Disney Gift Cards can also be found all over the country in grocery, hardware, big box, and convenience stores. Some membership-based wholesale stores sell these cards with slightly more value loaded on them than the sticker price that you pay. But my favorite location to buy Disney Gift Cards is at Target as the 5% RedCard discount does apply to this form of Mickey money!

I love Disney Gift Cards for several (dozen) reasons. I often receive them as gifts from those who know me best and I've never had an issue using multiple Disney Gift Cards towards my total room balance. (I applied 13 cards with amounts between $25 and $200 about a yEAR ago and the Cast Member at the Check-in desk gave me a high five when we got to a $0 balance owed.) Another reason is that hotel room rates vary throughout the yEAR and it's hard to know how much you'll need to earmark for a future vacation; not only do Disney Gift Cards never expire, but you can also use them throughout the property, so any extra funds you have left over can be put towards your Disneyland dining and souvenEARs

Pro Tip: You can combine the balances of your Disney Gift Cards up to *$1,000 USD on DisneyGiftCard.com
