Welcome to planDisney, Robert!
Spring is a sensational season to visit Walt Disney World Resort. The
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival blooms with energy, excitement, and delicious eats. I'm so glad you're planning a visit!
Currently, valued UK-based Guests can purchase 7 or 14-day ticket lengths via the
Walt Disney Travel Company. Other ticket lengths can be purchased on
Disneyworld.disney.go.com as soon as you arrive in the United States. Valid admission, a theme park reservation, and a method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) are currently required for theme park entry. If you are interested in spending three days in the theme parks, you would save money purchasing a three-day ticket for each member of your party as opposed to three, single-day tickets.
Theme park reservations are where you specify which park you plan to attend each day. Walt Disney World Resort uses dynamic ticket pricing, which means prices will vary depending on the ticket length as well as the specific dates of your visit. For reference, a three-day theme park ticket can be used any three days within a specified five-day window.
Before purchasing your tickets, it's important to check the
theme park reservation availability calendar. Theme park reservations for April tend to fill up weeks in advance due to spring break crowds. As such, another option I'll mention for purchasing your tickets in advance is to ask a US-based friend or family member to purchase your tickets online and link them to you in My Disney Experience. For this to work, your friend will need a My Disney Experience account and should connect with the five of you as
Family and Friends before making the purchase.
I know this is not exactly the answer you were hoping for, Robert, but I hope it gives you some Mickey-shaped food for thought. Please don't hesitate to
reach out with any follow-up questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
