Hi, Shu, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're in the beginning stages of planning an exciting Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I'm so glad you've found us here at planDisney. My Panelist pals and I are here and always happy to help Guests just like you!

Shu, you'll be happy to know that planning a vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth is very convenient when you use the website to guide you. I'll break it down into a few simple steps, and you're always welcome to come back with more questions as you dive in to the details.

    1. Decide which Disney Resorts Collection hotel you'd like to call "home" during your vacation. I always consider location and theming when choosing a Resort, and it's helpful to know that there are four general levels of pricing: Value, Moderate, Deluxe and Deluxe Villa. Once you choose your Resort, you'll choose a type of room. To book a room, you typically need to pay a deposit (a portion of the total balance) and the rest will be due later.
    2. When you book your Resort, you're also welcome to go ahead and purchase Disney Theme Park tickets. If you'd like to wait to purchase them until you arrive at the parks, you're welcome to purchase them at the entrance. If you're a Florida resident, you'll be eligible for special offers! Remember that you'll need to bring proper identification to confirm your address.
If you're looking for convenient parking, look no further than your Disney Resorts Collection hotel. You can park your car for free there and take complimentary Disney transportation to each theme park, where you'll be dropped off right by the entrance. Transportation includes buses, boats, the Monorail, and Disney Skyliner. However, if you'd like to drive to the parks, you're welcome to do that, and you'll park for free as a Resort hotel guest. There are dedicated parking lots for each theme park.

Shu, I hope this is helpful as you start to plan your visit! As I mentioned before, please come back to planDisney with any other questions you have as you continue in this exciting journey!

    See you real soon!
