    Is it possible for multiple adults to manage kids’ profiles within the Disney app? Can my husband and I both have our kids linked to our own account? If he purchases genie+ for our under 18 kids, will that show in my app?

    The spooky season has arrived at Walt Disney World Resort. Happy haunts materialize at the Haunted Mansion and during Mickey's "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Tickets for this special event are selling out quickly, so be sure to purchase in advance if interested.

    One person can officially manage the My Disney Experience account profile of a child or individual that does not wish to have their own My Disney Experience account. The person that first creates the My Disney Experience account profile is the manager by default. Others can view and make plans for the children as long as they are connected as Family & Friends. Let's dig a little deeper so you understand how this impacts your upcoming vacation.

    Children with My Disney Experience account profiles appear next to the words "Plans managed by [name of manager]" on an individual's Family & Friends list. For reference, I manage the My Disney Experience account profiles of my parents and children. Here are a few things only the manager of a My Disney Experience account profile can do: download that person's Disney MagicMobile pass, change the character associated with the account profile, and manage their MagicBands (activate/deactivate, report as lost, etc.) I shared my children's Disney MagicMobile passes with my husband via Apple iMessage using the My Disney Experience mobile app.

    You and your husband should both connect to your children as Family & Friends, Elizabeth. Start by making sure the two of you are connected as Family & Friends and that the words "My list is shared" appear next to the managing account holder's name on their Family & Friends list. Next, have the non-managing adult click "Add a Guest" at the bottom of their Family & Friends list. "Find through my connected Guests" is selected by default and your children's profiles should automagically appear for selection. 

    Once connected, both you and your husband can view and make plans for the children. You can link their tickets, make their theme park reservations, book their dining reservations, join the Virtual Queue for them, purchase Disney Genie+ service for them, book Genie+ Lightning Lanes for them, and more! On my family's park days, I purchase Disney Genie+ service for my family and book our first Genie+ Lightning Lane reservation at 7:00 a.m. My husband and I take turns booking our next Genie+ Lightning Lanes throughout the day. Connecting as Family & Friends allows for seamless digital planning.
