Is it possible to have a microwave in our room at Pop Century and what would it cost per day

Hey there, Jeri! Thanks for stopping by planDisney. Welcome!

Planning a Walt Disney World vacation is half of the fun, Jeri. You are going to have a magical yEAR selecting each and every activity and planning a practically perfect vacation for you. The year will fly by and you'll be at Walt Disney World before you know it.

Guests are able to request an in-room microwave at Disney's Pop Century Resort. However, they are never guaranteed and are limited in numbers. Microwaves for the rooms are on a first-come, first-serve basis. After you've made your reservations, I'd go ahead and call a Cast Member in the Reservations department at (407) 939-1936 and have them make a note on your account. They will also be able to let you know if there is a charge associated with this as well.

If you aren't able to have a microwave in your room for your next Walt Disney World vacation, I am happy to report that you can find microwaves at the Everything POP food court for you to use free of charge. You are able to use the microwaves anytime the food court area is open which is usually from about 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. each day.

I hope this helps, Jeri. If you have more questions about this or anything else, I'd love to help. Feel free to reach back out to me anytime.

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
