Is it possible to get meal reservations on the day of coming to the park? Our trip is last minute and I can't get any advance reservations.

    Hi Susan,

Thanks for your great question. Because we live a little more than an hour from Walt Disney World, we often make impromptu trips, and those unscheduled visits can be the best as we go with the flow. Sometimes, I will be able to grab a dining reservation using the My Disney Experience mobile app as we drive east on I-4.

Sometimes, we are able to walk up to a restaurant and get seating on the spot without a reservation, especially if it is at a lower crowd time. If we don't end up with a reservation, we'll frequently just eat our way through some of the quick serve locations, such as sampling different tastes around the World Showcase at Epcot or around the Harambe Market at Animal Kingdom. Columbia Harbour House at Magic Kingdom is one of our favorite quick service locations.

And there are so many new walk-up spots at Disney Springs to try. I can recommend Morimoto Asia Street Food, D-Luxe Burger and The Daily Poutine. Can't wait to try Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza!

If there's a particular restaurant where you really want to eat, I suggest checking advanced dining reservations every day up to and including your visit. Plans change and you may be able to grab a last-minute reservation another guest has needed to cancel.

    Good luck, and happy eating!
