Ahoy there Stacey, and welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for floating another great question our way; it's great to
sea you here again.
I can't wait for you to catch Magic Kingdom Park's newest, nighttime spectacular,
Disney Enchantment. A few of my panelist pals and I enjoyed this show during its opening weekend, and it was a gorgeous display of fireworks, music, and projections, with a touch of Disney magic.
If you time it correctly, you can certainly see the fireworks from the
resort launch that goes between the
Magic Kingdom Park,
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Because this boat is small and features mostly interior seating, if you're interested in viewing the show while crossing Seven Seas Lagoon, I recommend boarding the Transportation & Ticket Center ferry boat just a few minutes before showtime. The ferry has plenty of standing space that faces the Magic Kingdom Park as well as a more direct view of
Cinderella Castle. After disembarking, there is ample room to stand at the boat dock and enjoy the rest of the show.
The dock at the Transportation & Ticket Center is one of my favorite places to watch Magic Kingdom Park fireworks outside of the theme park, and if you're staying at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, it's just a 5-10 minute stroll back to your room after the show. Follow the signs or ask a Cast Member to direct you to the walking path.
I hope this is helpful, Stacey! The pyrotechnics are incredible in Disney Enchantment, and because of their sheer height and scope, they can be seen from all over Seven Seas Lagoon and the nearby resorts. I love your idea of catching the show while cruising back home, and I hope everything works out. Thanks again for visiting us at planDisney, and don't hesitate to stop by again if you have any other questions.
Have a magical day!
Betsy
