Is it possible to have luggage transferred from one resort to another during our stay?Want to hit the park early & not have to take it to 2nd hotel ourselves. Also, can we send luggage on magical express to airport & take Uber from park to airport

Hi, Kimberly! I have done split-stays several times and love being able to experience multiple Disney Resort Hotels during one visit. Since the room at your second resort is generally not going to be ready first thing that morning, it is a great idea to plan to be in the parks all day on that "swap day."

When you are ready to check out and head to the parks, just take all of your luggage to Bell Services and let them know that you will need it transferred to your next resort. They will take all of your information and provide you with a claim ticket. You will then be free to go on a magical adventure and then head on over to your next resort later that day. Your luggage should be there at Bell Services awaiting you. Note that it generally takes until late afternoon for luggage transfers to be complete.

Once it is time for the last check out, you are welcome to use the Resort Airline Check-In Service to receive your boarding passes and check your luggage. Once your luggage is checked at that point, it will make the trip to Orlando International Airport separately from the Disney's Magical Express motorcoaches. You are welcome to make your way to the airport on one of those motorcoaches (if you reserved spots for your family) or by taxi, rideshare, or even Magic Carpet. I have used rideshare services for that airport trip many times, so I want to make sure you know about the pickup location. If you will be at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Epcot, or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, the rideshare pickup location is near each park's entrance. However, if you will be at Magic Kingdom Park, you will need to use the monorail or ferry to cross the lagoon and meet your ride at the Transportation and Ticket Center.

I hope you have a magical vacation and please let us know if you have any other questions!
