Is it possible to link our grandchildren's Disney gift cards to their Magic Bands?

    Hi Shirley,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

Unfortunately, you can’t link Disney Gift Cards directly to your grandchidren’s MagicBands. BUT I have an alternative that may allow you to “indirectly” link the two, if you’re staying in a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel during your upcoming vacation. Simply go to your Resort’s front desk and ask to set a charging limit on each of your grandchildren’s MagicBands that is equivalent to the amount on their Gift Cards (you can also do this at check in). Then, once they’ve spent their money, or when you check out, just apply your Gift Cards to your balance. Voilà! Instant (indirect) link!

As always, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
