Is it possible to link another families tickets to Disneyland app so all lightning lanes can be booked by one person?

Welcome to planDisney, Jessica! We're so happy to see you here!

If it's one thing I love about December, it's the Holiday decorations, smell of gingerbread and festive atmosphere. Since you're planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort towards the end of the year, you'll get plenty of both! And it'll be even more magical because you have another family joining you! It's really easy to link all of their tickets to yours and I'd be happy to go over the process with you.

    1. Make sure that everyone has downloaded the Disneyland Mobile App and have them pull up their tickets on screen so that the bar code is visible. You will find this under "Tickets and Passes" within the "☰" Features Menu.
    2. Open the Disneyland Mobile App on the main device that you would like to use for booking Lightning Lanes. Scroll down to "Link to Account" in the "☰" Features Menu and use the phone's camera to scan everyone's tickets in order to link them to that account.
    3. That phone will now be able to book Lightning Lanes and Virtual Queues for everyone that has been linked to the account. If not everyone in the group wants to experience a certain attraction, you will have the option to omit those individuals from your selection if desired.

This process may also be performed on a web browser at the Disneyland website. Just hover your cursor over "My Disneyland" and select "Link Tickets." This method will require you to manually enter each ticket number, so I find the app more convenient.

And that's all there is to it! During your visit, check out the gingerbread house inside the Haunted Mansion Holiday. This is a fan favorite attraction overlay and features a unique gingerbread house every year! And speaking of gingerbread, do NOT pass up a Mickey Gingerbread Cookie if you get the chance. This was probably the biggest surprise treat for me last year and I can't wait to get my hands on another one! You'll find this and other treats at the Festive Foods Marketplace. Wherever you look, there's plenty to do at the Happiest Place on Earth for the Holidays

Jessica, I hope that this was helpful for you and that you have a wonderful time planning your vacation! If there is anything else we can do for you, please feel free to stop by again anytime! You're always welcome at planDisney!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
