Is it possible to link a birthday to our reservations? We have reservations for Be Our Guest and Crystal Palace. Does the Disney resort do anything special for a birthday?

Hi Susan! It is always nice to have a fellow resident of the Keystone State visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you have some special celebrations coming up at the Walt Disney World Resort! Your visit will be here so soon. With less than two-months to go, you must be getting excited!

You have selected two great places to celebrate someone special! In fact, I recently celebrated a birthday dinner at Be Our Guest. During the meal, our server (unexpectedly) presented me with a birthday card personally signed by Belle and Beast. That was a nice surprise! When it came time for dessert, mine was presented with a birthday candle which was a bit more expected, but still a nice touch. Another highlight of the dinner was Beast making his way around the castle (three dining areas) throughout the evening. Dinner guests are invited to meet with Beast prior to leaving the castle. This is a great opportunity to get an autograph and picture with a popular Disney Character.

The best part of celebrating at the Crystal Palace is that Winnie the Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood host Guests all day long! This all-you-care-to-eat restaurant is great for children of all ages, including adult children! Upon your arrival to both Be Our Guest and Crystal Palace, I encourage you to notify the host of the special person who is being honored. You may also put in a call to Disney Dining at (407)939-3463 and ask them to add a note to your existing reservation to be sure that they are aware of a special person in your party. You never know what special surprise the hosts at these restaurants will be able to provide!

Susan, an additional option to consider to celebrate is an in-room surprise which can be provided by Disney Floral and Gifts. These amazing "magic makers" are pros at helping families to celebrate special occasions while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort! From cakes, to flowers, to gift packages they have everything needed to help celebrate your special person!
