Welcome to planDisney, Holly! Thanks so much for visiting us with your question today.
I'm pleased to tell you that, yes, it is definitely possible for both you and your husband to manage your kids' tickets through your My Disney Experience accounts. Start by having your husband open his
My Disney Experience app and navigate to "My Family & Friends," which is located in the menu in the bottom right corner of the screen. From here, have him request to add your children to his Family & Friends list, which he can do easily if he is already connected to you. If you are not already connected, he can search for them with their names and ages. Once you have accepted the invitation to connect you will go into your own My Disney Experience account and click on the icon for one of your children. You will find an option to allow a connected guest to manage "All Plans", which will give your husband the ability to see your kids' tickets and make plans for them, including
Lightning Lane selections. Complete this process for each of your children and you're good to go!
Once you're connected, you can feel free to split up during the day to enjoy different attractions. Lightning Lane selections can be managed individually, so if you're spending the day at
Magic Kingdom Park and a few members of your family have a return time for
Pirates of the Caribbean but everyone else wants to go ride
Haunted Mansion, that's totally fine and you'll be able to book separate Lightning Lane selections.
I hope this answers your question, Holly, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
