Is it possible to host a baby shower at Disney - possibly at one of the Walt Disney World hotels? I would be looking for a space as well as food for the event. It might be truly magical to have a Disney character drop in.

    Welcome to planDisney Maryellen!

I cannot think of a better way to celebrate a new baby than a baby shower at a Walt Disney World hotel! To get started, you will need to contact Disney Meetings and Events. They can create something magical for your event. I am sure they will work with you to come up with your dream baby shower and can work their magic for some "special guests" to make an appearance.

Before calling, you might want to have some basic information ready including desired date, the number of guests, and your budget. This will be a big help in the planning process.

It will be so fun in in the future when that new little one has his/her first visit to Walt Disney World. Mickey loves his littlest guests, so parks are prepared with stroller rentals, Baby Care Centers, and little ones can enter theme parks with their parents without a ticket (age 2 and younger).

Have fun planning a baby shower at Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
