Is it possible to do the 6:15 HDD show and MVMCP the same night? I don't want to miss the parade/fireworks.

    Hi Shannon,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Both Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are such amazing Experiences and, although it is possible to do them on the same night, I don't recommend it.

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue lasts approximately 2 hours so you would miss the 8:15 P.M. showing of Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade. You will need to catch a water taxi from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds and get to Magic Kingdom Park in time for the 9:30 P.M start of Holiday Wishes fireworks show. Water taxi's run on an average of 15 to 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Park, you still have to go through the Park security checkpoint, MagicBand touchpoint entrance and get your Party bracelet. In my opinion, that would be cutting it somewhat close, and you may miss the start of the fireworks show. The Party starts at 7:00 P.M. however, guests attending the party have been admitted as early as 4 P.M. Most of the Party Guests will already be in the Park and you may not get the best spot for viewing the show. There's a late showing of Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade at 10:15 P.M. so you would not miss seeing the festive performance.

My advice; enjoy them on separate nights if possible. Stick around after Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and hop on over to Disney's Fort Wilderness Lodge to check out the beautiful Christmas Tree and the enormous fireplace in the lobby. It's the perfect spot for holiday photos.  Go to the Party on a different evening and ride Attractions while the first parade is going on (fewer crowds) and then view Holiday Wishes and the Parade.

    Wishing You Many Magical Memories,
