Is it still possible for guests staying at a moderate hotel to purchase a daily or 5 day/weekly, etc. pass to use a health club at deluxe resorts? I was able to purchase a pass for health club access in December of 2008.

Hey there Kimberly and welcome to planDisney!

Ah, 2008. The simpler times when I was still a child and someone else was planning and paying for my Walt Disney World Resort vacations. A lot has changed since then. I'm the major planner in the family now and so many of the things that I knew then about a Disney vacation are considered throwback or retro by the kids today. Kimberly, time and the pandemic have caused a lot of changes at the Walt Disney World Resort. Currently, only Guests of a particular Deluxe Resort Hotel can use that hotel's fitness center. But each Moderate Resort Hotel does offer jogging trails and pools to keep up some exercise. Usually what I like to do is switch to body weight exercises to keep myself on track while I'm on vacation if a gym isn't available to me. For example, a sunrise workout at one of the sandy beach areas of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a great way to start my Disney day.

Kimberly, I hope I've been of help to you today. If you have any other questions, come back again for another chat.

    Happy planning!
