Hi Tonya,
I have good news! You can absolutely have a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation on just about any budget. I've made great memories in just one day, so believe me when I say there is plenty of magic to go around.
We love Disney Resort Hotels for theming, pools and ease of travel using Complimentary Resort Transportation. I recommend
Disney's Pop Century Resort or a Little Mermaid room at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort to save on room costs. These Value Resorts are great because they each have a dedicated bus that goes to and from the parks, which cuts down on travel time. You'll save a little on your room rate if you visit Sunday to Friday, eliminating weekend nights and if you can travel during a value season, you'll save even more.
I also don't think you need a ticket for each day. We love having a day off to enjoy the pool or visit Disney Springs. You can't do everything, so choose a few must-see attractions and plan around them. On a 5-day trip, my family might visit the parks for 3 of those days to leave room for other things.
In the parks, we always bring water and snacks with us. That doesn't mean we never get a Mickey Premium bar, but it saves a lot of money to have a few items to munch on throughout the day.
For dining, I recommend one
Character Meal during your stay and enjoy the less-costly but tasty Quick Service options for the remainder of your time. Remember, this is your vacation! There are many ways to enjoy Walt Disney World and they are all wonderful!
Wishing you a fun and budget-friendly trip! Happy planning.
