Is it possible to see both the fireworks in Disneyland and World of Color in California Adventure? If so what are the best ways to see both, including time and watching locations?

    Hiya Christopher!

Welcome back to planDisney!  I’m so glad you thought of us when planning your next adventure to The Happiest Place On Earth. I can tell you're really excited to check out the two new nighttime shows at the Disney100 event. I've already seen both and I hope you get the chance to do the same. I'm looking forward to sharing my thoughts with you!

Yes! It is definitely possible to see both Wonderous Journeys at the Disneyland Park and World of Color - ONE at the Disney California Adventure Park on the same day. However, it does require a bit of planning and strategic timing. I checked the Hours & Events Calendar for the day of your visit, and it looks like Wonderous Journeys has one showing at 9:30pm while World of Color - ONE will be showing at both 9:00pm and again at 10:15pm on the day you're planning to be at the resort.

One strategy for seeing both shows on the same night is to watch Wondrous Journeys, which lasts for about 13 minutes first, and then make your way over to Disney California Adventure for World of Color. After Wondrous Journeys, you'll want to exit the park as quickly as possible and make your way to California Adventure. It's important to note that there can be a lot of traffic and crowds leaving Disneyland after the fireworks, so give yourself plenty of time to get over to California Adventure.

Another option is to book a World of Color Dessert Party, which includes sweet and savory treats and reserved seating for the show. This can be a smart and yummy option if you want to ensure a good view of the show without having to wait in a long line.

Have you already downloaded the Disneyland Mobile App, Christopher? This is a wonderful resource for keeping track of showtimes during your visit. From the home screen, find the ☰ feature menu at the bottom right. Then choose “Tip Board”. From there you can scroll through all of the attractions and showtimes for the day in a particular park. By clicking on “Change Park” in the top center, you can toggle between the two locations.

I hope this information was helpful to you Christopher. I wish you the best of luck in finding the perfect viewing spot, whether it's in the park or with a dining package. Please feel free to message me directly if you have any follow-up questions so that I can get back to you as quickly as possible. Enjoy the double dose of entertainment and have a blast!

    Adventure is out there!
