Hello, is it possible to find out how many standard rooms are at the Yacht Club that support a family of five. I am also curious as to what floors they are located on. From what I have seen they are on floor 3 and 4. Trying to narrow down our room request.

Hey Thomas! Disney's Yacht Club Resort is so beautiful and the proximity to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios can't be beat.

I think you'll be pleased to know that all of the standard view rooms at Disney's Yacht Club Resort can sleep up to 5 adults.  These rooms are spacious with a slight nautical theme that I've really enjoyed while staying there in the past. I also love the added features of the mini refrigerator to keep drinks cool and a Keurig coffee pot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings while getting ready.  According to the front desk, standard rooms are located in every section of the resort from the 2nd floor on up. Because standard view rooms at this resort typically have views of the convention center and parking lots, I think the area that your room is located in is much more important than the actual floor. If it were me, on the room request section of the online check-in, I would ask to be as close to the Stormalong Bay pool area as possible. This area is amazing and I know when I stay at Disney's Yacht Club Resort this is where I am going to be spending most of my time. Another great request would be to ask for a room as close to the Boat Launch, that takes you to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, as possible.

Remember you can make your room request up to 60 days in advance while you are going through the online check-in process on MyDisneyExperience.  Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
