Is it possible to see Fantasmic AND the Star Wars show? Do they overlap? Do I need to choose one over the other?

    Hi, Vic!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. With only a few weeks left until your magical arrival day, I bet you are just counting down with excitement. I’m getting excited just typing this! There’s really nothing quite like a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Or as I like to call it, HOME.

Vic, the current schedule for July, which is subject to change, shows that Fantasmic! is scheduled for 9 p.m. and the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular is scheduled for 9:30 p.m.  Fantasmic! is a 30-minute show so, in order to make it to Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, you would have to leave early. It’s not impossible, but it will be tricky. I enjoy both shows, and they are uniquely awesome! If you really want to try and watch them both, be sure to sit towards the back of the amphitheater so you can sneak out a few minutes before it’s over and walk, don’t run, towards the Chinese Movie Theater so you can catch the Star Wars show. You might miss bits of both, but it will be a successful Disney adventure if you can make it happen!

Be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app to your smart device before you arrive. The GPS tool is a must when you’re navigating the parks. Plus, with all your information, tickets, FastPass+, dining reservation information, and so much more, I don’t recommend hitting the parks without it!

May the force be with you as you journey through the lands of Disney’s Hollywood Studios during your visit. I hope you have a truly magical time!

    See you real soon,
