Is it possible to extend your stay in Disney Resort Hotel at your check out dat, because of a late flight departure? If so, is there an additional fee?

Hello Rick and welcome to planDisney!

I'm excited to see that you've already planned what's sure to be a magical holiday to Walt Disney World Resort during April 2022.  Springtime at Disney can be such a lovely time of yEAR to visit and with so many Things to do in Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort I feel sure that you'll be spoilt for the choice of which activity to enjoy first!

As a fellow international Guest who visits Walt Disney World Resort from across the Atlantic Ocean, I can completely relate to your concerns about any possible late flight departure times.  Although, I have to say that in recent yEARs I haven't suffered many travel delays when arriving and departing from Orlando International Airport (MCO).

Guests staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel are more than welcome to place a request with the Front Desk for a complimentary late check-out after 11 am on their day of departure.  However, as with all requests placed at Walt Disney World Resort, Cast Members will always do their very best to accommodate Guests wherever possible, but of course, no request can ever be guaranteed.

Now... if you would like to actually extend your stay by another night (or even 2!).  I would suggest dialling the Front Desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel from your in-room telephone to enquire about any current room availability and to also gain knowledge of the further associated costs of staying for any additional nights.

It might also be useful for you to know Rick, that on check-out day Guests may stow their luggage with Bell Services at their Disney Resorts Collection hotel.  This complimentary service allows Guests to have freedom from their suitcases whilst they enjoy the magic for just a little while longer until it's really time to head back to the airport and home.

Rick, if you should have any further enquiries about spending a practically perfect in every way holiday next April at Walt Disney World Resort, then please do pop back to planDisney where I'd be delighted to help you once again!

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
