Hi, Harlan! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this great question!
I am not typically a morning person, but that certainly changes when I'm visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort. I love how much you can accomplish in the
theme parks during those early morning hours when crowds are at their lowest. You'll often catch me heading to one of the parks for a pre-opening breakfast
reservation.
Guests who have those early breakfast reservations, as well as reservations for a
tour that meets first thing in the morning will be permitted to enter the theme park early. This is the case at both
EPCOT's main entrance, as well as the International Gateway. I have used the International Gateway many times to enter EPCOT for a pre-park opening sticky bun bake at
Garden Grill Restaurant. You should have no problem accessing the park through the International Gateway early enough to arrive for the
Gardens of the World Tour. If you do not see the entrance for guests with early dining and tour reservations, simply ask a Cast Member and they will point you in the right direction.
In addition to the Gardens of the World Tour, I hope that you will be able to explore everything else that the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival has to offer. I am always amazed at the level of detail found in the gorgeous
topiary displays, and the delicious cuisine found at the
outdoor festival kitchens is not to be missed. Be sure to also take in a performance of the
Garden Rocks Concert Series.
