Is it possible to enjoy BOTH Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach in the same day? We are planning on 1 day of 6 to be spent at the water parks. 2 adults and 2 kids (9 and 7). Do you think we can do it?

    Hello Angie!

I am so glad to see you are considering the Disney Water Parks.  I love them so much.  I can't wait to visit Typhoon Lagoon this summer. You can absolutely squeeze both Water Parks into one full fun day, I have done that a few times and it works out great!  Now, keep in mind you wont be able to do every single thing at both Water Parks but if you are okay with that I say go for it!  Doing several things at both Water Parks seems like a much better idea than not seeing any of one at all.  I recommend doing some research on both Water Parks to see what your family would really like to do at each.  Make a list and do those things first.

At Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, I would not miss out on spending some time in the Surf Pool.  The Surf Pool is one of the world's largest wave pools with waves every 90 seconds.  The waves are so big you can actually surf on them.  Crush 'N' Gusher is a water coaster that whisks you along and tosses you up while sitting in a tube.  It is something really unique, I would add it to your must do list.  You can also swim with sharks at the Shark Reef in Disney's Typhoon Lagoon.  If your kids want to do this they will need to be accompanied by an adult, go ahead mama!

At Disney's Blizzard Beach, I would suggest heading straight for the Toboggan Racers.  My family loves these and would spend the entire day on this one attraction.  The Toboggan Racers are an 8 lane water slide where you lay on your stomach and go racing down the hills headfirst.  Disney's Blizzard Beach is also home to Summit Plummet where brave guests travel 60 miles an hour almost straight down.  There is also an awesome family raft ride, Teamboat Springs, that happens to be the longest family raft ride in the world.  It is another do not miss attraction, we love it.

    Have a splashtastic time!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
