Is it possible to just drop off/pick up guests at Magic Kingdom...

Hey Lisa. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

For the most part, it's pretty easy to drop off and pick up a Guest using a personal vehicle at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park all have a drop off/pick up location that is near the entrance. The exception to this, however, is Magic Kingdom Park. It's actually not possible to drive your personal vehicle to the entrance of the park. Instead, you'll need to take your Guests to the Transportation and Ticket Center. When you enter this area there will be a Cast Member collecting payment for parking. Simply tell them you are dropping someone off and you'll be directed to a special area for this. After you drop your Guests off, they will need to go through the security checkpoint. Once through, they can either take the monorail or the boat over to Magic Kingdom Park. When your Guests are ready to go home, you'll meet them in the same location that you dropped them off in. It sounds a little complicated but I promise there is plenty of signage and it's really very simple. If your Guests have any questions on where to go they can always stop a Cast Member and ask.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
