Teresa from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Is it possible to downgrade tickets from park-hopper to one-park tickets? If so, what is the process?

    Hi Teresa! Welcome to planDisney.

I always add the Park Hopper option to my theme park tickets, because I love the flexibility of being able to "hop" between the theme parks. Currently, a Park Hopper tickets at the Disneyland Resort allows Guests to start at the theme park for which they have a Theme Park Reservation, and then, when Park Hopper Hours begin (currently at 1:00 p.m., but subject to change), hop to the other theme park (as long as it hasn't reached capacity). In my mind, this means double the magic!

Disneyland Resort theme park tickets are non-refundable, so you may be permitted to change your ticket from a Park Hopper to a One-Park ticket, but you would not receive a refund for the price difference. It doesn't hurt to ask a Cast Member by visiting a ticket window when you arrive about your options for changing your ticket. You may also call and speak with a Cast Member by calling the Tickets line at (714) 781-4636. Please note that wait times are currently longer than usual as many Guests are planning their Return to a Land of Magic, so please be patient. I like to listen to the hold music on speakerphone while I multitask, and have definitely been caught singing along!

Thank you for stopping by with your question, Teresa. As you continue to make your plans, be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog for the latest information and fun features about the magical experiences, tasty treats, and good things going on at the Disneyland Resort.
