Hi Amy, and welcome to planDisney!
Don't tell my kiddos, but some of my favorite memories at the Most Magical Place on Earth have been made during my solo adventures. From venturing down the Sassagoula River to
Disney Springs for a dinner-for-one at
Wine Bar George to eating delicious School Bread at the Norway Pavilion at an
EPCOT quick service location, I will never say "no" to a meal or snack at Walt Disney World Resort.
I have good news for you, Amy. You may absolutely make an advance dining reservation for one person for the Resort restaurants. Simply visit the Walt Disney World website or use the
My Disney Experience app and create a dining reservation. When selecting the party number, select "1." The available options will appear just as they would for a larger party. In fact, you'll probably have even more options with it being a smaller party. Woohoo!
Because I want to give you the most accurate information possible about a reservation-for-one at a table service All-You-Care-To-Enjoy restaurant, I just tested it out for myself in the My Disney Experience app. You can indeed make one. By the way, my pretend reservation was for
Liberty Tree Tavern. If you haven't tried this "family-style" Thanksgiving-like meal, you have to put this on your list. Johnny Appleseed's Warm Apple Cake is seriously one of the yummiest desserts in all of Walt Disney World.
AN EXTRA GEM: Selfies are fun, but consider purchasing
Memory Maker (or adding Disney PhotoPass downloads to your Annual Pass). This is a great way to capture your memories at the Resort. From the Resort hotel to the theme parks, the
PhotoPass photographers do an amazing job taking photos of you enjoying the Disney magic!
If you have any other Disney vacation planning questions, Amy, please don't hesitate to
revisit us here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
