Is it possible to use a debt card to pay for parking at the parks?

Hello, hello, Heitor! Welcome to planDisney, where we love helping our fellow Guests plan the most magical Disney vacations.

When visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, my family and I try our hardest to carry the least possible amount of cash, mainly because of how convenient it is to visit the Theme Parks without huge wallets to carry around. In fact, I usually only take one credit card and one form of ID with me, and that gives me so much more space for essential items like a FuelRod, a pair of sunglasses, my iPhone and its cord, sunblock, and Advil.

With all that in mind, Heitor, I am happy to tell you that debit cards are widely accepted throughout the Walt Disney World Resort (including parking lots!) as long as they're associated with a credit card company and thus have the option of being used as a credit card. For example, I used to have a Visa debit card when I was younger, and I was always able to use it for purchases all over the Resort.

I would still encourage you to take a credit card and some cash with you just in case though. You never know when they might come in handy! I wish you all the best for your magical Disney vacation, my friend. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to come back here or the planDisney Portuguese site. We're always happy to help!

    Have a magical day,
