Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Brittney. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Let's chat.
As a mom of three, I know that visiting the Walt Disney World theme parks can feel a little daunting. I mean, taking kids
anywhere is daunting, right? I'm pleased to report, though, that the
Walt Disney World Resort offers lots of family-friendly services that make traveling with kiddos in tow pretty easy. To answer your question, yes, it is certainly possible to do a 1-Day Park Hopper itinerary. There is SO much to see and do in the four theme parks, though, that I recommend keeping it to just two theme parks and prioritizing a handful of attractions and shows that you most want to see there. I also recommend
renting a double stroller. I'm sure your kids don't rely on a stroller too much at home anymore, but exploring the theme parks requires a LOT of walking, and little legs tire quickly! Having a stroller on hand so they can rest between experiences will help with their Park Hopper stamina, trust me.
Take some time to check out the
Services for Guests Who Are Neurodivergent page on the Walt Disney World Resort website. It has lots of information and resources on how to best prepare for a visit with your 5-year old Mousketeer. I think the
Accessibility Planning Guide is especially valuable.
I hope this was helpful, Brittney. Please let us know if you have any other questions about the Walt Disney World Resort! We'd love to help you plan a magical visit.
