    Is is possible to customize the DDP. We will be staying for 7 nights and I'd like to book Mickey's Backyard BBQ but that uses 2 credit s per person. I want to know if it is possible to buy and extra credit per person to cover this meal.

    Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!
    Mickey's Backyard BBQ Dinner Show is a fun event that your family will have a great time enjoying!

    Unfortunately, there is no way to customize a Disney Dining Plan or to purchase extra credits. The credits issued under the plan are directly related to the number of guests in your party and the number of nights of resort hotel stay. That being said, there's always a way to work it all out and receive the best value from your Dining Plan, while enjoying everything you'd like to during your holiday!

    What I usually do, is to use my Disney Dining Plan for Dinner Shows and other "set price per person" dining experiences including character meals. If we're short by a credit or two on the whole holiday as a result of a few 'extras,' I'll choose 'a la carte' dining experiences for which to pay cash instead. This way, the most benefit and savings is incurred through the Dining Plan.

    If you have some other great Walt Disney World dining experiences in mind already, and would like assistance in determining which ones would be best suited for your Disney Dining Plan credits and which to pay cash for, simply write me back and I'll be pleased to provide you with some tips! I've used both the Disney Dining Plan and the Deluxe Dining Plan many, many times and I always find a way to make it work out perfectly for my family! We love enjoying different dining experiences, Character Dining and Dinner Shows on each and every trip!
