Hey there Gregory,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! I'm thrilled to see that you're planning to visit the Disneyland Resort next month - the
Holiday season is one of my favorite times to visit.
First, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the fact that you just might have the very best name in the whole world - from one Gregory to another!
Second, I'll say that in my experience there is typically quite a bit of flexibility on the bed configurations in hotel rooms with two caveats: that it depends on the room type that you're looking for and the availability of your preferred bed configuration during your visit.
Most room types in
Disneyland Resort hotels offer two queen bed or one king bed variations, but again it really all comes down to what is available during your visit.
Typically, when you book your hotel stay through the
Disneyland Resort website, you'll see a list of the various room types and bed configurations that are currently available and are able to select your preferred type as you reserve your room. However, I have heard that there are some International Guests that need to book their stay through local travel agents due to local rules and regulations, so if that is the case for you then I'd recommend specifically asking for your preferred room set up when booking your stay.
If you've already booked your stay, or change your mind at some point, then I would recommend asking a Cast Member when you arrive and check in to let them know your preferences! When I've done this, they've done everything they can to accommodate my requests.
Thanks again for your question, Gregory! Have a wonderful visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
