Hi there, David! I'm so happy you brought your question to us here at planDisney. I know as we are all returning to the magic, there are Guests that have similar questions to yours regarding the new
theme park reservation system, and I'm happy to be your guide! I'm also so glad you are able to take advantage of the new
Southern California Resident Weekday Ticket Offer - it's so good it makes me want to hop a plane with a one-way ticket from Philly!
I love this offer in particular because you can use your 3-day, One Park Per Day or Park Hopper ticket on non-consecutive days between now and May 26, 2022. There are some black-out dates to be aware of, but for the most part, you are able to plan your visits in advance and make those theme park reservations! I know you are asked to make reservations for all 3 dates as part of the check-out process, but don't worry! You are able to modify these by canceling your original reservation and rebooking a new one. If you have Park Hoppers and are looking to change your starting park, this would work the same way by canceling and rebooking the reservation, but this time choosing your new park. Reservations are limited and subject to availability, so before you do any canceling, I would check the
theme park reservation calendar for the Southern California Resident Tickets to be sure your new date is available.
To make any changes, simply log into your account on the
Disneyland website or open up your
Disneyland Mobile App. Within the app, if you navigate to "Future Plans" and scroll down, you will see all of your current theme park reservations. Select the day you are looking to change, click "Cancel Reservation". After the cancellation is made, the site will bring you back to the page where you can make a new reservation. On the website, hover over "My Disneyland" on the top navigation bar and select "Ticket and Reservation Details". Scroll down to "View My Park Reservations" and the process should be the same from there.
As a local, I'm sure you have an idea of when you'd like to visit the parks, but I want to make sure you know about the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! Taking place from March 4 - April 26, 2022, you'll get to enjoy all that California has to offer from live music to special menu items and culinary demonstrations by Disney Chefs. If you have little ones with you, they will love decorating their own cupcakes at "
Alice's Bakery Unbirthday Party". If you're there for a grown-up Disney day, you might want to check out some of the special offerings like the
Carthay Circle Winemakers Reception. Perhaps the best news of all?
Soarin' Over California is making a grand return for a limited time!
David, no matter when you decide to go, it's sure to be a magical time! Come back to see us if you have any more questions. We are always here for you at
planDisney!
Magic awaits!
