Hey there, Richard! Thanks for popping in to planDisney with your question. You have a fun adventure planned for your party to visit the Happiest Place on Earth!
Richard, it sounds like you have
One Park Per Day tickets. To change a
reservation, you must cancel your current reservation to make a new reservation. You will be taking a risk that by the time you attempt to book a new reservation, it may not be available anymore. Personally, I would not take the risk at this point, as your trip is this week. Another option - once you arrive, you could inquire about upgrading to
Park Hopper tickets. The ability to upgrade is subject to availability of reservations. If reservations are available for Park Hoppers, you could select Disneyland Park as your starting park for three of the four days, which would give you more time at Disneyland Park. You can
call Ticket Services in advance of your visit as well, if you want to try to upgrade prior to arrival.
Another idea, Richard – if you haven’t added
Disney Genie+ service to your tickets, you could consider doing that, so that in the two days you have at Disneyland Park you could do more during your time there. Genie+ gives you access to
Lightning Lanes, which are faster queues that save you lots of time. Each time I visit with my family, we add Genie+ as we can experience more attractions in the same amount of time this way! To add Genie+, once you have entered the parks, you can go to My Genie Day in the
Disneyland mobile app, click Tip Board, try to select your first Lightning Lane, and you'll be prompted to add Genie+ to all the tickets linked to your account.
Sending you a pinch of pixie dust for good luck. I hope one of these options work out for you!
