    Is it possible to get cash back for any gift cards that have a balance on them when our trip is over? Thanks

    Hi there Cyndi,

    Disney Gift Cards are the best!  It's so nice to be able to pre-purchase these in your desired increment for use while in the parks and resorts.  It's much more convenient than hauling around a wallet with cash and credit cards and they really help to save ahead of time, not to mention budgeting and keeping track of spending while on your magical vacation!

    Technically, the answer here is "no."  The Disney Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash.  There are certain exceptions based upon state law but the laws apply to remaining balances of $10 or less.  For example, here in California where I live, any pre-paid gift card may be redeemed for cash if the balance is less than $10.  I don't think many states have this law in effect, so it's something you would need to look into based upon your state of residency.  I know in Florida, the Gift Cards have no cash value.
