Is it possible to get a card to help with standing in lines? I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and standing for very long iin one spot is hard. I have always toughed it out in the past, but I was wondering if there was a way to shorten the wait times

Hi, Kelly!  Walt Disney World recently changed the accommodation for guests requiring special assistance due to issues such as yours.  The Disability Access Services Card was designed to help guests who have difficulty with some of the traditional aspects of a theme park visit.

Basically, the card will be issued at Guest Services, so you want to stop on your first theme park day at Guest Services.  Once you are issued the card, you'll see that there are spots for cast members at each attraction to write on.  When you get to an attraction you'd like to visit, the cast member will write down a return time for you based on the wait time at that attraction.  If the wait time, for example, is 45 minutes, your return time will be in about the same time frame.  Instead of standing and waiting, however, you can go find a shady spot to sit down, grab a bite to eat, do a little shopping - whatever you need to do to be comfortable during your wait time.  Then, when your time opens up, you return to the attraction to be admitted.

I hope this helps take some of the difficulty of your vacation away so that your whole visit is nothing but magical!
