Thanks for visiting planDisney. We love a good proposal here at planDisney! There is no place better to start your Happily Ever After than at Disneyland.
It is always fun to have characters be involved in a special announcement. Currently, characters are not available for paid private meet-and-greets. While this might sound discouraging, I have a great recommendation that might still create the magical moment you are looking for.
Use the
Disneyland app to find characters across the park; you can look up the time and location that Captain Jack Sparrow will be out and about (typically in the
New Orleans Square area). While many characters engage in a stationary meet and greet, Captain Jack is a character who is typically on the go. You can try to catch up to Captain Jack, engage in some banter, then roll out the proposal. While Captain Jack Sparrow may not directly handle something as precious as your engagement ring, I am sure he will have some fun commentary on your big moment (I truly hope there will be footage of this somewhere later)!
This is sure to be a memorable way to propose, one that would touch the heart of even Davy Jones!
