    Is it possible to cancel room reservations? If I’ve already paid & will I get a refund if I do?

    Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your very first question! I am sorry to hear you are considering canceling your visit, but if you cannot make different travel arrangements, remember that the magic will always be waiting for you at the Walt Disney World Resort.

    Cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions at the time of booking, so I highly recommend checking the cancellation policy of your reservation before making a final decision. In order to receive a refund for a deposit paid for a room-only reservation, you must cancel it at least 5 days prior to your check-in date. To cancel your reservation, sign in to your Disney account, visit My Plans and scroll down to find your booking. If your reservation can be canceled online, it will have a Cancel Reservation link next to the confirmation number. If you do not see the link, please call (407) 934-7639 and Cast Members will be happy to assist you. Please note that Disney vacation packages (including a stay at a Disney Resort hotel plus theme park tickets) have a different cancellation policy.
