    Is it possible to have a cake and decorations for a birthday in our room when we check in for a surprise?

    Hi Pamela!  Disney is more then happy to work with you to arrange for a cake and other surprises and decorations delivered to your room. However, it is not possible upon check-in. This is due to the many instances when rooms must be changed at the last minute via the guests request or a need of the resort.  It is impossible to take decor down and move to another room so the policy is to deliver it only once a guest has a set room number and has checked in. Trust me that the surprise will not be any less when it appears magically when you are out and about the next day and return to your room. You can ask for it to arrive during a specific time block so you can make sure you are not there.  Check out the great packages at the Disney florist, www.disneyflorist.com. For a special cake you can contact the cake hotline at 407-827-2253. I am sure you can plan a surprise of a lifetime for the special birthday person!
