Hi, is it possible to buy a ticket only for one day? To enter one of the parks in Orlando.

    Hello Martin!

Welcome to planDisney! One day in Walt Disney World Resort is sometimes all I need to get by followed by several more days. While I cannot accomplish just one day in the Parks I understand that many Guests like yourself have perfectly fine reasons for only wanting to stay one day. I am here to help you figure that out!

In the United States, theme park tickets are sold to Guests in increments of 1 to 10 days. You can buy your one-day date-based ticket and then select if you wish to add any extras. I love the Park Hopper Option which lets Guests travel to multiple Parks in one day. Otherwise, the Guest must pick the Park they want to visit and explore it well. You can purchase the ticket online or in person at the Ticket booth pending availability. I strongly suggest purchasing it beforehand and having it ready on your phone when you arrive using the Disney MagicMobile Service

Remember, Walt Disney World Resort has four Theme Parks and 2 Water Parks. Each of the four main Theme Parks has different ticket values and different concepts. For example, if you love Star Wars then I would visit Disney's Hollywood Studios. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is a fully immersive land that transports you to a distant planet! I hope you pick the one you most want to enjoy and have a lovely day!

    Happy Planning!

Meet the Panelist: Nimmy, New York

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
