Is it possible to buy a princess gown onboard Disney Dream even if I cant book a Bibidi Bobidi Boutique appoitment?

Olá Mariana, seja novamente bem-vinda ao planDisney!

Being married into a Brazilian family myself, it's always so nice to connect with folks traveling from Brazil to Disney destinations around the world; from the arrival date that you've provided, it looks like you'll be enjoying a 5-Night Western Caribbean Cruise from Fort Lauderdale with Marvel Day at Sea on the Disney Dream! We just got back from a Disney Cruise Line voyage yesterday and took the opportunity to ask the Crew Members working at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on board about your question and here's what they shared with me about the current policy on board:

    • At the current time, the Crew Members let me know that officially only guests who have a confirmed booking at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique are able to purchase one of the available gowns or costumes that they have available on board. (Though this may change by the time of your sailing, they let me know that any exceptional situations are handled at the discretion and approval of their management team on board and may be more likely on the final day following any of the remaining appointments booked for your cruise, depending on the ship and the inventory available at the end of the voyage.)
    • When we've traveled with children in the past, their parents have found it worth booking a simpler package in order to be able to purchase costumes but I recommend checking in with the Crew Members directly to see what their most recent policy is like on the Disney Dream as soon as you board, especially as these tend to be subject to change without prior notice from ship to ship and across various sailings.
Though we noticed that many families chose to bring their dresses and gowns from home so that they could already be worn on the first day of the cruise, it's worth visiting Mickey's Mainsail on Deck 3, Midship when it opens to browse their costume selection as well in case your little one spots something special that they'd like to wear instead - especially if they see themselves joining the ranks of the superheroes you may encounter. I wish you the most magical voyage on the Disney Dream, and hope that you come back to planDisney again for any more tips and advice ahead of your incredible Disney adventure on board!

    Boa viagem!
