Hello, Kati! Thanks for stopping by planDisney to ask your question.
I'm excited to see that you are staying at
Disney's Pop Century Resort for your Walt Disney World vacation in October. Disney's Pop Century Resort is so much fun. There are so many cute picture spots around the resort, I think you are going to have a great time.
Kati, unfortunately, you aren't able to request or bring a microwave with you into your room at Disney's Pop Century Resort. But, as you know, there are several microwaves for you to use at your convenience at the
Everything POP Shopping & Dining food court area. Currently, the food court area is open from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. each day but you'll want to check the times as it gets closer to your vacation later this year. If you don't want to walk up to the food court to use the microwave each day, there are plenty of foods you can still enjoy in your room. Each room at Disney's Pop Century Resort does have a small refrigerator inside. In the mornings you could have cereal and milk and yogurt which you can store in your refrigerator or items like muffins and pastries which don't need to be refrigerated or heated up to enjoy. Other goodies I like to keep in my refrigerator at Walt Disney World are those premade snack plates that contain meat, cheese and crackers. Those are good to keep on hand for any time of the day when hunger strikes. Also, you'll always find waters and sodas in my refrigerator because bringing those from home really does cut down on costs in the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.
If you are interested in eating at the Everything POP Shopping & Dining area, I can attest that the food is really tasty. I love the breakfast sandwiches in the morning and who could say no to a Mickey waffle? Not me, that's for sure. For dinner, my family and I also really enjoy the pizza that is made there. We've enjoyed a whole pie plenty of times out by the pool and then have taken the rest back to our room for a late-night bite.
Kati, I'm sorry you won't be able to microwave in your resort room but I'm sure you'll be able to come up with snack ideas that work best for you and your family. If you have any other questions before your trip,
I'd love to help.
Enjoy!
