Is it possible to buy a Park ticket without having to reserve a park visit date?

Hi there Gabby, and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for stopping by with your question, and we appreciate your patience as we assist all Guests excited about upcoming trips to the Happiest Place on Earth. With the holiday season well underway, it's an especially magical time to visit!

Currently, you must choose a date and make theme park reservations when purchasing Disneyland Resort tickets. This is to avoid a situation where reservations are unavailable for the date you're looking to visit after you've already acquired tickets. Fortunately, there is no penalty to cancel and rebook theme park reservations, so if you purchase tickets and reserve a specific visit date, but your plans change, you can cancel your existing reservation and make a new one. Simply log into your Disneyland account, click on "Ticket and Reservation Details" in the My Disneyland dropdown menu, and follow the prompts to cancel your reservation. Once you've done that, you're free to make a new one for any available date. If you only need a 1-Day Ticket, I recommend purchasing a Tier 6 Ticket since it's the most flexible single-day option.

I hope this makes sense, Gabby. Best wishes putting together a magical Disney day, and if there's anything else we can do to help, please don't hesitate to reach out again. We're all ears!

    Happy holidays,
    Betsy
