Is it possible to bring a small microwave from home and use it in a Disney Resort room?

    Hi Julie,

I'm sorry, but bringing your own microwave is not allowed.  It's against Fire Safety Regulations.  You don't mention what resort you have booked, so my answer will seem a bit generic.  Some resorts do have microwaves available to rent on a first come, first served basis.  If you are staying at a Value resort, you are welcome to use the microwaves in the food courts.  Villa and suite rooms do have microwaves.

Your best bet is to call (407)W-DISNEY to get a direct answer or go to and look up your resort.  It will list details about each room.  If you have any other questions for me please don't hesitate to send me a direct message at the Moms Panel.

    Enjoy your vacation!
