Hi there, Susan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question.
Eating at the Disneyland Resort is one of my favorite things to do in the parks! I just love the variety of delicious food offered at both quick service and table service restaurants around the Resort. You can bring a few snacks with you into a table service restaurant if that is more convenient for your child. But I suggest checking out the menus of the
restaurants where you want to dine as you might be surprised with the offerings for little ones. All table service restaurants offer kids menus that usually include the typical fare like macaroni and cheese or chicken nuggets. Plus, there are one or two Disney Check Meals that are unique to the restaurant. Keep in mind that if your child is 3 years old or older and you plan on booking any dining packages (
like the ones for Fantasmic!), they will be required to order a meal at the restaurant in order to receive their voucher into the reserved viewing area.
You can also bring snacks with you from home to munch on while you are touring the parks. We always come prepared with granola bars, crackers, and apple slices so we have a quick snack on-hand in between meals. Also, don’t forget the water bottles! Staying hydrated is super important and if you need to refill throughout the day you can visit one of the many drinking fountains in the parks or ask for a free cup of ice water at any
quick service restaurant.
I hope this helps. Have a magnificent time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
