Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Callista!
I’m so happy to hear you’re planning a visit to
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park. There is so much summer fun in store at Walt Disney World Resort’s water parks, and whether you’re floating down a lazy river in
Cross Country Creek or zooming down the
Bay Slides, you’re going to have a splash-tastic time!
I checked in with a Cast Member, who confirmed that your boyfriend will be welcome to wear his U.S. Coast Guard approved life vest in the water parks. Please note that the lifeguards do reserve the right to ask him to remove it or abstain from riding any attractions in which it might pose a safety risk. Flotation devices, such as pool floats, are not permitted in the water parks. As you note, complimentary life vests are available on a first-come, first-served basis as well. I recommend taking a look at the “Know Before You Go” section on the
Walt Disney World Water Parks web page for more details on appropriate swim attire and other dress and safety policies.
I hope you and your boyfriend have so much fun at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, Callista! Please come back and see us if we can answer any questions as you count down to your visit.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
