Hi there, Leslie,When you join Captain Minnie and Captain Mickey to tell your vacation story on the high seas, you are in for an experience like no other. For larger families like yours and mine, that also may mean somewhat different accommodations than what we are used to when we vacation on land. When my family planned our first cruise, we too discovered that the larger suites and staterooms that accommodate larger families were above our price range. It took some time to wrap my head around how to make it work. I discovered that what worked better for our family was to book two smaller staterooms. They could be connecting rooms of the same category. Or they could be two different stateroom categories. For example, we have booked a cruise with one Oceanview stateroom and one Inside stateroom across the hall. That configuration allowed for significant savings while still enjoying the amenities and views of our rooms. My favorite benefit of booking two staterooms is that we have twice the bathrooms! With Disney Cruise Line's innovative split bathroom design available in the "Deluxe" stateroom categories, it is effectively as if our family seemingly has four bathrooms to use. Once we experienced that luxury, we have never wanted to cruise any other way.I hope that gives you some inspiration for how to arrange for the vacation of your dreams, Leslie. I'm certain that once you see the huge grins on your children's faces as they meet their favorite Disney Characters on the high seas, you'll all be hooked and can't wait to do it all over again just like my family. Thanks for visiting us at planDisney, Leslie. I hope to hear from you again if there is anything else we can do to help with your Disney vacation plans.~Tony
