Is it possible to book a value resort outside of the free dining plan offer and then when the free dining offer comes out, upgrade to a moderate resort and then get free dining as part of this? Or would this not be deemed a new booking? Thanks

Hey there, Jennifer! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

In short, yes! My wife and I typically book our vacations far in advance to secure our favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotel room. Then, as Special Offers come along before the scheduled vacation, Guests can absolutely modify their hotel reservation. To do this, you’ll want to call the friendly Cast Members at Walt Disney World and as long as the dates and Special Offers that you are looking for align, they will work their magic!

If you’re looking for a Value Resort Hotel recommendation, might I suggest penciling in Disney’s Art of Animation. I had the opportunity to explore this resort back in December, and it’s on my list to stay at! Between the large themed family suites and the largest resort pool in Walt Disney World Resort, this resort will certainly draw you in. Plus, you have easy access to the new Disney Skyliner!
