Howdy, Nick!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question. As a Disney Vacation Club Member for the last 22 years, I love helping fellow Members plan their Disney vacations.
Disney Vacation Club is the most magical neighborhood on earth!
Nick, you can indeed book two
Disney Vacation Club Deluxe Studios for the same dates using your Disney Vacation Club Points. I am assuming you have friends or family staying in the second studio, so what I would recommend is to make sure the Guests who are staying in that room are named on the reservation. This is important so that My Disney Experience recognizes them as
on-site Guests, and they will then be entitled to those benefits. These include being able to make Advance Dining Reservations and Enchanting Extras Reservations 60 days from your check-in date and purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Passes and Lightning Lane Single Passes beginning 7 days from your check-in date.
If you are planning to use your Disney Vacation Club Points to pay for both rooms, you will go through the process to book both rooms as you normally would. But when you get to the Guest Information part, this is where you can enter all of the names of the Guests who will be staying in the respective rooms. If the Guests in the second room are adults and you are gifting them the room, then the room cost is paid for using your Disney Vacation Club Points. But they would be asked for a credit card when they check in to cover any incidentals.
As a reminder, Nick, if
Disney's Bay Lake Tower at The Contemporary Resort is your Home Resort, you can make both reservations beginning 11 months from your desired check-in date. If it is not your Home Resort, then you can make the bookings beginning 7 months from your desired check-in date.
I hope this helps you, Nick! If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, stop back here to see me, and I'll be so happy to help you.
Magically Yours,
Keri
