Season's greetings, Angus!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by to ask us this very merry question! As a big fan of the Holidays myself, I love all occasions to get into the holiday spirit early, so I am truly so happy to be helping you today. Besides, there is truly no better way to ring in the season than by visiting the Walt Disney World Resort at that time of year!
You are correct that
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party requires special event tickets to be able to attend the party and enjoy all of its festive magic. Although Guests from the United Kingdom are not currently able to book special event tickets online at this time, this does not mean that you cannot get tickets at all! First, you can work with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner who can help further, or call a Disney representative for more options, as they are usually able to help further. Second, you can simply get your special event ticket at any of the theme parks by visiting one of the ticketing windows! Indeed, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets are available for sale at the ticketing booths at the parks, so they are also a great solution for you. However, I do recommend booking your tickets sooner than later as they are subject to availability.
Thankfully, the holiday fun doesn't have to stop after your Christmas party! Another one of my favourite offerings at that time of year is the
EPCOT Festival of the Holidays which will be available starting on November 25th, 2022. Indeed, not only do you get to eat delicious meals and treats from different countries, but you can also learn about different holiday traditions from around the world! In addition, you can participate in Olaf's Holiday Tradition Expedition scavenger hunt or the
Holiday Cookie Stroll, both of which come with a complimentary prize upon completion. Then, end the day by catching one of the
Candlelight Processionals with celebrity guests. If you are a big fan of Christmas music like me, I cannot recommend this Disney tradition enough!
I hope this was helpful, Angus, and that you will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. As Elsa said: "When we're together, it's a holiday every night!"
Have a happy, merry, holly, jolly, day!
Ariane
